Elijah Hooks serves as the Chief of Staff for the Florida Student Association, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a commitment to advancing student interests. A distinguished Political Science Scholar at Florida A&M University, Elijah's dedication to academic excellence is evident in his pursuits and achievements. Elijah's leadership journey began at Florida A&M University, where he previously held the esteemed positions of Student Body Attorney General and Senator within the Student Government Association. His active involvement in student governance showcased his passion for advocacy and representation. Beyond the university campus, Elijah has made significant contributions to community development and public service. Notably, he holds the distinction of being Florida's Former Youngest Commissioner of a Community Redevelopment Agency, serving diligently from 2021-2022. This role allowed him to drive positive change and foster growth within his community. Elijah's political acumen is further underscored by his valuable experience working alongside seasoned politicians. He has previously served on the staff for Former Congressman Al Lawson and Governor Charlie Christ, gaining invaluable insights into legislative processes and governance at both federal and state levels.
